Down Town and in the Park

Last weekend I had my star model this year, Brittany, venture over to Sacramento to get her senior portraits done. We walked around in my neighborhood park and found many wonder portrait spots with in the 100 foot radius; it was great! The next day we went to down town Sacramento and found some awesome textured walls and metal back drops. Take a look a some of the pics. To see more from Brittany's session click here

WPPI 2008 Las Vegas

Hello all! About a week ago Brenda, Crystal, and I went to the WPPI 2008 convention for a week. WPPI is a international Photography convention. I took three classes a day from 8:30am to 10:30pm, I listened to some amazing photographers from all over the world. Their work is AMAZING, and their classes were inspirational. I learned so much about the photography industry in that short week. Our stay in Vegas was not all work, we celebrated my 24th Birthday at the end of the week. What a perfect experience! I can't wait to go back next year. Here are some photos from outside our hotel.

Sisterly Love!

On Sunday Erika, Jess, and I went to down town Sacramento for a portrait session in the park. We started the day off with some sister photos, but Jess had to leave. Then Erika and I roamed the park, did a few clothing changes, and took some photos. We started and 9am, we had great morning light, and hardly anyone was at the park.What a perfect day for photos!

Kenzie, Vanessa, and I ventured over to Folsom with a trunk full of wacky clothes and accessories. Between the three of us I had a great assistant to hold up my reflectors, and great models. It was great for them to have each other there. They fixed each other's hair, gave styling tips, and got each other to smile and be themselves. Here are a few.

Fort Bragg Wedding

A few weeks ago I went to Fort Bragg to photograph a wedding. We started off the day with the ceremony in in a small church in Mendocino. After the ceremony we went to the reception at Italian restaurant in Fort Bragg. There we enjoyed good company, great food, and tasty cake!

An Aternoon in the Park!

Last weekend Eddie and I ventured over to Fort Bragg for a few days. I had a fun filled weekend with hanging out family and friends. I spent half of my time eating at my favorite restaurants, relaxing, and hanging out with some of my favorite people. The other half of my time I spent taking photos. On Saturday I went to the local park with my good friend Heidi. I chased around her son Cooper and nephew Calob with my camera. They move so fast! They have great personalities as you can see in the photos below.








I also did a wedding this same weekend. I will have some photos up soon.

KSSU Radio Station at Sac State

As you know, I'm a Sac State Alumni. So when I was asked to do some promo shots for DUB V's webpage I excited. We wanted to get an "urban look", down town Sacramento was prefect. It was raining and cold, but we had fun. 3 hours, an expired parking meter, and 6GB of memory cards later; we ended up with these. Here are just a few. I have many, many more....
