Spring is here and that means school is almost out. Time to make sure you get your REAL senior portraits taken. Now that the weather is great, everything is green, and the flowers are blooming; it's time to schedule your senior portrait session. Some of you may not know this, but you dont have to use your school's contract photographer for your entire session. You just need them to take your year book "mug shot".  Here are a few sessions i did in Jackson. They did such a great job. They both have such different personalities and interests, it was so much fun to photograph them both.

Lights, Camera, Fashion!

Talk about an awesome session... Catelyn, Julie, and Alicia are so much fun! They brought their ipod, bags of clothes, and their energetic selves.  We had so much fun using different back grounds, clothing changes and had a blast trying out new lighting techniques. :) They each brought something special table so I was able to get an array of photographs.

My New Friend

Hello all!

It has been awhile since I have posted last. I have been busy with my new best friend! I got Sadie when she was 6 weeks old, she just turned 9 weeks today. She is half rottie, part sharpea, and part border collie. :) She is a handful and has been a great addition to the family.

She is my new favorite model. Check out a few of the photographs I have taken of her over the past three weeks.

HI! My good friend Cheri got married this summer. I was one of the lucky bridesmaids... unfortunately, that mean that I couldn't be her photographer. before her photographer got there, I was able to fallow her around with my lens and catch the behind the scenes action. Coopers Summer Slideshow

Over the summer I spent time with Cooper and mom Heidi. He is one of my favorite subjects. That day we hung out at the house, grabbed a bite to eat, talked to Cooper's grandma (Becky)on the phone, and blew bubbles in the back yard. Road Trip to Utah

Hello all!
Crystal and I went on a week long road trip to Utah last week. We started our adventure in Las Vegas for a girls night. What a blast! We then drove to Zion National Park where we camped and took a bunch of photographs. After staying there for a few days we ventured off to Arches National Park. We hiked around and saw many of the different arches and Satyed in Moab. We had a wonderful trip and lots of great photos. Here are a few... Down on the Farm!

On Labor Day,  my star model of the year (Kenzie) and a few of her friends dressed up in their homecoming dresses and put their cowboy boots on for a funky session. We had so much fun. These girls were climbing on tractors, sitting on motorcycles, laying in dirt. Kenzi even got in her sisters wedding dress and sat in the garden. I love taking photos of these girls, they are always willing and come up with some great ideas. Take a look at a few of these. Last weekend I did another session with my new star 2008/2009 model, Kenzi and her

friend Jessica. These two brought a bunch of crazy outfits and
an ipod with an amazing play list.
I love these mini portrait party sessions, there is so much fun
and energy, that we are destine for a great shot.

I'm Back!!

Ciao!

I have been back a week today. I had an amazing time in Italy, I can't wait to go back. We started in Rome, went to Florence, to Levanto (my favorite), Varenna, Bologna, and finally Venice.

Levanto is a small town in the Cinque Terre area. There you can lay by the beach, go for hikes, eat local food, and scuba dive.

I spent most of my time eating, walking, and taking pictures. I now am trying to cook with fresh mozzarella, basil, tomatoes and make some authentic Italian meals.

Here are few of my favorite images. They are taken in Levanto, Varenna, and Venice.
